Its still beautiful. For sure commercialization has shown its ugly face here. There is no central authority looking over. Tent hotels have sprang here and there. You could see bottles and other packaging mateiral in the emerald green water of the lake. This emerald green water has overwhelmed many. The profuse beauty inspiring the story of Prince Saif and fairies. ‘Kalay Khan’, the legendary storyteller is still around to tell you the story. He still believes in it. Take a moment to see Malka Parbat, the treacherous mountain which second only Nanga parbat in the difficulty to conqueor.
If you are looking for serious adveture then you can embark on the journey to Aanso Jheel. It will take you three hours on a horse. It will cost you around 1800 rupees for the roundtrip but you need to reach Saiful malook early in the morning so that you can reach back before the sunset. One side trip to Saiful malook takes you around 60 to 90 minutes. Spare sometime for the glaciers in between.
